Service & Maintenance plans

 We know that customers want flexibility in their maintenance and service contracts, so we offer a variety of service levels and pricing structures.  Technet Informatic's customers may choose from two unique maintenance service plans:
1.  The Basic 24x7 Plan delivers technical assistance break/fix telephone service for products purchased from Technet Informatics.  The Basic 24x7 Plan includes
  • 4x7x365 telephone support.
  • Bug fixes/patches/maintenance releases for Windows/Linux Operating systems

2. The Basic 9-5 Plan delivers full, responsive maintenance and support services during normal, local business hours (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday).  Incase assistance is required, beyond agreed service hours, a regulated fee will apply.
 The Basic 9-5 Plan includes:
  • 0900-15:00 x 5 technical assistance telephone support
  • Bug fixes/patches/maintenance releases for Windows/Linux Operating systems
 Note: There is no after-hour service and support available with the basic 9-5 Plan. This restriction include any and all variations of per event, or time & materials service, no matter the severity level.

Secured Application Shipboard Server (SASS)

Reliable, Low Cost, Vessel IT Environment
Technet Informatics Limited (TILtd) designed and configured a low-cost
Secured Application Shipboard Server (SASS), which addresses the unique
critical requirements for computers used on-board vessels.

The SASS is highly secure, easily deployable, easy to maintain, reliable, readily recoverable and cost effective (economical). The SASS is complimented with the latest technology in “ Thin Client ” desktop terminals and other related peripheral equipment, thus creating a pre-defined highly secure and tightly controlled computing environment for use on the vessel.
Post installation support by vessel’s staff is to execute an automated backup procedure  for the vessel’s data.
Shipping Applications are updated via an automated procedure.
Recoverable procedures automated and easy to execute with step-by-step manual.
